This is our farm.

This is our farm.
Katahdin sheep out to pasture

Foxhole Farm is our life and home.  It is a 30-acre farm nestled just outside of the city where we do our business.  On our little patch of Earth we have just enough of a vegetable field for us to make a living off of.  The remainder of the acreage grows a lush pasture, skirted by trees, for our sheep to rotate over and for wildlife to thrive on.

We manage our farm regeneratively.  If you boil down my long-winded definition of that philosophy, I'd say it's working with the land and the elements, not against them.  You can enjoy my deposition (?) on regenerative agriculture on our farm's website if you have a strong cup of joe or tea and some time on your hands.

We have created quite the circus for ourselves and our two little ones, May and Jack.  Together with our farm dog Mel, the barn cats, and our resident birds and bees we do our best to steward this land and bring the harvest to town.  Beyond field work, we meddle in the farmhouse kitchen because that's why we got into this madness anyway...good food.  And whatever the cottage food law of Ohio will allow us to serve at our market table, we do :).  Sourdough bread, granola, floral jellies, danish, and more.
